Walmart Rollout

Exciting News! Stable Storefronts is now an official Walmart Solutions Provider. This update directly impacts all of our existing partners, as we are expanding our services to include Walmart storefronts. For our legacy partners all your Walmart stores are included in your agreement. For our new partners, if you joined us at the Platinum Level, your Walmart store will be created and managed for you at no additional cost.  In September, we signed the official documentation, and our goal is to onboard 10 new partners to Walmart each month. Please note that there will be a minimum churn volume requirement to satisfy the healthy operation of your new Walmart store and we will cover that BEFORE we migrate you onto the new platform. If you decide you’re not quite ready to include that additional inventory commitment you may always defer your Walmart store creation to a later date without any penalty.  In regards to priority of migration we’ve decided that the partners who joined us first will be migrated onto Walmart first.  We’ll contact you a month in advance before your onboarding window begins. Stay tuned for more details as we roll out this exciting opportunity to broaden your eCommerce presence!

Monthly Partner Success Meetings

Beginning this month, all partners will be required to attend a monthly Store Success meeting with Saria and her team. The meetings are over zoom video and can be as short as 15 minutes, but no longer than 30 minutes.  In the past we’ve highly encouraged these meetings, but the feedback has been so resoundingly positive we now view them as necessary for every partner’s success. These meetings are essential for reviewing your store’s current status and health, discussing growth strategies, and answering any questions you may have. Attendance is mandatory for all partners, and starting November 1, inventory shipments will be paused until you’ve met with the Partner Success Team. I want to assure you that we understand you’re busy. In order to accommodate all our the varying schedules the Partner Success team will be sending out a Calendly link to book your meeting at your preferred time. The email with this link will go out on the 28th of each month for you to secure the meeting time you prefer. Early bird gets the worm 🙂  October’s meetings will be handled on a case by case basis as we get some of our partners up to date, but November meetings can be booked on October 28th through the email link sent to your personal email. If you need to adjust your personal email please contact Saria before October 25th.

Reduced Shipping and Prep Fees

HUGE NEWS – STARTING TODAY, we are able to lower the inbound shipping fees to Amazon! Due to our new warehouse location and our growth in inbound shipments Amazon is giving us a much better deal on freight. To give you an idea, our legacy partners were paying upwards of $200 dollars to ship a partial pallet to Amazon, today that same cost would be around $55 dollars. High tide raises all ships. We will be passing all these savings onto you. But wait there’s more – due to our continued growth now we can afford to absorb all the costs associated with your inventory prep including pallets, wrap, stickers, tape etc. This change applies to all partners immediately and will make your inventory costs lower, increasing the profitability of your store. This will especially increase the value of your less expensive inventory! We’re super excited to be able to make this change, and we couldn’t wait to announce it. You’ll notice the savings on your next inventory order, helping you maximize your business growth even further!

Sunsetting Pulse Updates

We are phasing out the weekly Pulse updates for something better! The Pulse updates were in an email format and lacked critical context to be easily understood, and sometimes created more questions than they provided answers. We’ve got a better way.  We’re focused on two channels for these updates. Global company wide updates will come through this monthly newsletter. Store specific updates will come through your monthly Partner Success Meeting. This transition is already underway! We KNOW this will give you more useful information and be a much better experience.

Amazon Peak Fulfillment Season

As we move into Amazon’s busy Quarter 4, several changes will affect all partners due to Amazon Peak Fulfillment Fees. Fees will increase, and inbound shipping times will slow as Amazon’s transfer centers reach capacity. A new store receiving ungates will be less likely, and you can expect higher return rates in Q1 due to holiday shopping. Fulfillment center transfer times will also increase, as Amazon uses its trucks as rolling warehouse space. Shipments into Amazon will slow down, and you may notice more receiving errors. Overall, you’ll experience a general slowdown in inbound operations during this peak season. It’s totally normal and expected AND just a part of life with Amazon. The good news is every seller has to deal with it so it’s a level playing field. Q4 typically yields more sales for stores that are stocked and your items will likely sell for a higher price! Here’s hoping all of us have massive success this holiday season.
