Appetite Emails Explained

  • Purpose: Appetite emails are monthly communications sent to determine each partner’s budget and inventory needs.
  • Why It’s Necessary:
    • Control of Spend: Ensures partners approve their budget and maintain control over their accounts.
    • Compliance: Required by credit card underwriters for flexible subscription agreements.
  • Process:
    • Two emails: First confirms the budget; second offers inventory options.
    • Partners approve transactions based on recommendations, ensuring compliance and clarity.
  • Future Improvements: Language in emails will be more concise, repetitive, and clear. Visual aids are being developed for better understanding, targeted for rollout in February.
 

 

Walmart Stores Now Shipping

  • Progress: Initial shipments to Walmart’s fulfillment centers began January 8.
  • Onboarding:
    • Greg is coordinating setup via Zoom, ensuring partners complete documentation and grant user permissions.
    • Approximately 60 stores have been onboarded, aiming to finish all by the end of January.
  • Walmart Platform Benefits:
    • Higher profitability per item than Amazon, despite fewer sales.
    • Building infrastructure for scalable bulk shipping.
  • Next Steps: Partners approved for Walmart will start seeing product offerings soon.
 

 

Account Managers

  • New Hire: Thomas joined as an account manager, focusing on high-value accounts shipping $50,000+ monthly.
  • Role: Dedicated to optimizing store performance, managing inventory, pricing, and returns.
  • Incentives: Account managers receive performance-based bonuses tied to store success.
  • Plan: As partner stores grow, additional account managers will be hired, all based in New Jersey for warehouse accessibility.
 


SKU Vault Update

  • Overview: SKU Vault is a new inventory management system integrating both Amazon and Walmart inventory.
  • Current Status: 90% implemented but delayed due to onboarding complexity and staff illnesses.
  • Benefits:
    • Partners can track inventory stages from order to shipment.
    • Simplifies operations for both Amazon and Walmart platforms.
  • Next Steps: Full rollout expected soon, with partners informed upon completion.
 


Vail, CO Trip

  • Details: January event for partners and staff is overbooked, with 50+ attendees, including 41 partners.
  • Purpose: Networking, team-building, and major announcements.
  • Future Events: Scheduled in San Diego, Idaho, New York, Florida, and Texas through 2027. Partners are encouraged to attend for networking and business growth opportunities.
